A Little Rant About Something Which Makes Me Sad...

Feeling sad about small indicators of the human condition and how great ideas morph into something nasty through greed...

Ebay is a nice idea. 'Sell stuff you no longer want to people who want it...'Great.... But it's sickening how for some its turned into 'grab stuff that other people want before they get it so you can sell it to them for a profit...' Nasty...

Today is record store day, and two of the things I would have liked to pick up were sold out early at the record shops I visited. (This in itself doesn't really bother me too much as I have the tracks, but I would have liked them on pretty vinyl etc etc. I didn't get up early or even make any effort to get to the stores early, people wanted them more than me, people bought them, fair play).

Then I look to see if any online stores are selling them and there are literally hundreds of copies on ebay for five times the ticket price. People are nasty...

Again, I want to stress, I am not particularly angry or sad about my not getting stuff, but extremely sad about society & how people are slowly learning that this sort of selfish greedy behavior is somehow normal and expected.
